Photography in the News: Walking Classes
Written by: Tiffany Joyce
Before I jump into today’s post I wanted to apologize for not posting Thursday and Friday. I had posts scheduled to be published using the tool Windows Live! but publish they did not. So you’ll get a double dose of Beyond Megapixels a few times this week. Does anyone use an application to do your web blog publishing? Any recomendations?
Okay on to the news. I read about this Walking Class taking place at a trail where people pay $10 (or $15 for non-residents) and they walk through the trail with a great nature photography and they go over the fundamentals of good nature shots. What an incredibly genius idea. I love it. I like the idea of having a Mommy group at a park where everyone brings their children and their cameras and you have a photographer walking you through good candid park shots with your kids. So I think I’m going to take that idea and run with it come Spring time. What do you think? Have you participated in a formal or informal class on photography? Do you teach? I’m really interested to know what you’ve done. Your comment will likely be published (with your link – so be sure to include one) in an upcoming post this week.
