Postcard Competition – Now Closed

The guys over at Uprinting have decided to run another small competition especially for BeyondMegapixels. These guys do some cool postcard printing so I look forward to seeing the lucky winner’s postcards. These guys also offer discounts for promotional printing if your ever interested.

How to Enter: Leave a comment at the end of this blog post, describing what you would use the free postcards for. Winners randomly selected. 
Prize: 500 post card prints (2 winner’s to recieve 500 each)

Note: Winners in the United States qualify for free shipping. Shipping fees will apply to winners outside these areas.

    I'd use these for self-promotion and drop them of at selected places and hopefully lead to a sale or two.

    I will use 50 by sending them to my friends and family. I am an international student. i would love to show my photography to them. Rest will be used for self promotion and our photography club @ University of Maine!

    I would use them like the other posters – send some to family and friends, and self promotion by leaving them here and there, but also by mailing them to former and potential clients.

    I would send out notes of encouragement to my friends and family – it is always nice to get something in the mail besides bills or junk!

    I would print family photos on them and send them to my kids, nieces and nephews – all of them are in college these days!

    I would use the post cards to keep in touch with my parents who live in another state, as well as send them to other friends and family members as birthday cards, holiday cards, or just to say “Hi”! I would also distribute some at my band's performances…. And I would keep a bunch in my portfolio to give to potential clients! (and of course I would keep a few for my scrap book…) :-D

    I would probably use them for self promotion as well. Prints are one thing, but having a photo that you took on a postcard is quite another! Very official.

    I would use them as “Save the Dates” for my upcoming marriage and as a way to show off my photography. :)
