The First Photo I Was Ever Proud Of
Written by: Tiffany Joyce
This is the first picture that I took that I was ever really proud of.
This is the Portland Head Light in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. I had just gotten my very first digital SLR, specifically for the trip to Maine that we took that year. I remember clearly that on that day I was determined to master the manual mode of my camera, and my newfound understanding of shutter speed and aperture. I recall being quite pleased at myself for getting the exposure just right, and proud of how the shot was composed. This is the first photograph of my own that I ever considered framing and hanging in my house.
Do you have a specific photograph in mind, that you recall being among the first that you were ever really proud of? We would love to share in your experience! Please post a photo or photo link in the comments and tell us all about it!
