Your May Photo Challenge Contributions

Written by:

The May 2010 Photo Challenge Subject is “portrait”, and the Challenge Technique is “black and white”. The challenge runs all month long, so there’s still plenty of time to share your shots! All of your efforts are very much appreciated and valued. Thank you so much for your participation.

Here are some of the contributions that have been posted to the Flickr Group thus far:

This particular combination of theme and technique seems to have struck with some resonance with our participants, because the contributions have been stunning. Many qualified for the challenge but were not labeled or tagged as being part of the challenge. Don’t forget to tag your contributions with “May Photo Challenge” so that I know it was your intent to include the photograph in the challenge! Also, some contributions had restricted access and were unable to be posted here in this entry.

Please peruse the entire photo group and enjoy all of the fantastic contributions!

Interesting to still see the interest in black and white photography. I once made my living from only shooting mono portraits as in the 80s it was hard for people to get good black and white prints. All changed now – but I like to see it still being preferred over colour- Grant
