Creative Frames in Corel Paintshop Photo Pro X3
Written by: Tiffany Joyce
Corel Paintshop Photo Pro X3 allows you to create frames for your photographs quickly and easily. For the purpose of this tutorial, I took some shots of a recently purchased bottle of Taylor Fladgate port (pictures, that is… one does not “shoot” port!).
Here is the original:
Open your photograph in Full Editor Mode. Then go to the Image menu and select Picture Frame:
Click on the frame image next to “Please choose a picture frame style” and scroll through the selections until you find one that you like. You can see a preview of the applied frame before making your selection.
Once you have selected the frame that you want, click on “OK”. Voila, the frame is applied to the image.
Flatten the layers by going to Layers / Merge / Merge All (flatten), then save as a new file, and you’re done!
